Soft Vs Hard Body Armor – Which is better for you?

Body armors shields the body of security officers and protects them against all sorts of external injuries. There are mainly available as soft and hard body types.

Soft Body Armor
Soft body armor is made up of soft, flexible and lightweight body material. The armor is strong enough to protect you against attacks from sharp materials. Because they are light in weight, you can easily move about form one place to another. Normally soft body armors can stop normal hand gun rounds up to .44 Magnum. Soft body armor absorbs impact of projectiles through their web of fibers.
Hard Body Armor

Hard body armor offers much higher level of protection against external injuries and used by military personnel in war torn areas against attacks by strong guns. These are heavier than soft body armors and made up of ceramic and metal. Generally, hard body armor in Canada includes internal layer of soft body armor so that it gains adequate strength.
